Dilek Tasi – Episode 20

Dilek Tasi - Mustafa is a man in his early thirties doing everything he can to keep his family afloat in one of Istanbul’s poorest neighborhoods. He lives with his wife, Canan, and their daughter, Cemre, but their fragile stability is threatened when Canan is struck by a relentless illness. Her condition is worsening, and the surgery she urgently needs is their only hope of recovery. Mustafa is desperate to find the money, yet the factory where he works has been shut down for months because of a lockout, leaving him without the wages he has earned. Until now, Mustafa has lived by his principles, holding fast to his honor and dignity and never bowing before anyone. But with Canan’s health at stake, pride can no longer stand in the way. He decides to seek out Mr. Yakup, the factory owner, and demand the unpaid salaries he is owed. If Mustafa can get the money, he can arrange the operation and give his wife a chance to recover. But the events of that day will take an unexpected turn, setting Mustafa and his daughter Cemre on a path that will change both their lives forever... This is, Dilek Tasi (Wishing Stone).
